The Audience Architects Gala celebrates the 10th Anniversary of SeeChicagoDance.com and honors Sarah Solotaroff Mirkin with the presentation of the inaugural Distinguished Service to the Dance Field Award.

Cocktails on the patio from 6pm-7pm, followed by a seated dinner with a jazz quartet, dessert buffet, and the 10th anniversary award ceremony. Beer, wine and a specialty cocktail will be served.Entertainment includes video highlights from the dance season, and a photo booth where guests can have their photo taken with Chicago dance artists.

Under Sarah’s visionary direction at The Chicago Community Trust (CCT) as Senior Program Officer for Arts and Culture and later as Vice-President for Programs, the Trust’s leadership, particularly its Executive Committee, supported transformative investments to the Chicago dance field. Those investments funded vital research and the launch of numerous projects. One CCT project directly led to the creation of SeeChicagoDance.com in 2005 and ultimately its parent 501c3 organization, Audience Architects. Co-founded by Carol Fox and Niki Morrison in 2008, Audience Architects is thrilled to honor Sarah’s tremendous dance legacy. Your participation in the Gala will help celebrate Sarah, and the website that currently serves so many artists and ticket buyers, fostering a healthier and stronger dance community.
