“Every Day is a Dance” —produced by HMS Media—highlights the impact dance is able to have on one's day, and the entire Chicago dance community. Directed by Second City member Carisa Barreca, the video features dancers from various Chicago dance organizations including The Chicago Human Rhythm Project, The Chicago Moving Company, Chicago Dance Crash, DanceWorks Chicago, Deeply Rooted Dance Theater, Ensemble Español Spanish Dance Theater, Giordano Dance Chicago, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, The Joffrey Ballet, Matter Dance and Natya Dance Theatre, as well as Chicago actress and Second City alumna Rachel Miller.

The "Every Day is a Dance" video is part of a Citywide Dance Marketing Initiative, that over the course of 12 months will highlight Chicago's dance community and elevate dance as part of Chicago's cultural identity. The initiative is funded by grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Joyce Foundation, and the NIB Foundation. Capacity building support provided by the Arts & Business Council of Chicago.
