Chicago Tap Theatre is seeking tap dancers of all backgrounds, ethnicities, body types, sexual orientations, and genders for the 2022-2023 season. Touring Apprentice (insert link) & Apprentice (insert link) positions currently available. CTT provides these positions with a monthly rehearsal stipend plus performance pay when applicable.
Chicago Tap Theatre’s audition process includes a virtual pre-audition (optional) and an in-person audition located in Chicago, IL.
VIRTUAL PRE-AUDITION (optional)
Dancers may send in a video for feedback from Artistic Director, Mark Yonally, before making travel arrangements.
Videos must be a minimum of 3 minutes long and include both choreography and improvisation. Submissions due August 15. Feedback on all submissions will be provided by August 20th. Visit https://chicagotaptheatre.com/category/job-openings for more information on how to apply.
