Event Description

Crosswalk Dances is a series of traveling performances with choreography customized to pedestrian pathways. Join in a yoga warmup then watch professional dancers enliven the city landscape, and maybe add your own moves!
These free dance pop-ups exemplify Synapse Arts’ belief that art can happen anywhere, at any time. Look for dancers wearing bright colors and body speakers that carry the music with them!

Crosswalk Dances is presented as part of the Chicago Park District’s Night Out in the Parks series, supported by the Mayor’s Office and Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events.

ALL FREE

All ages, identities, bodies, and minds welcome, access features and wayfinding information to come. Bring a camping chair or a blanket, and enjoy a performance over a family picnic! You are welcome to follow performers as they travel around the park, too.
