Event Description

Core Project Chicago’s “Free Range Bonesbare” will be a free traveling dance performance traversing Park No. 567 (Milwaukee and Leavitt just off the brand spanking new 606) during the first Sunday afternoon in October (Sunday October 4 from 1:15 pm - 2:00 pm). Dancers will make their way through the park. At designated locations the dancers will stop to perform site-specific works. The dancing will simultaneously echo and interact with the city around the dancers. Dancing will be at times pedestrian, at times abstract, and at times comical. The audience will be invited to stop, to follow, and to interact directly with the art. The dance will not be separated from the spectators but a completely accessible and interactive performance experience as pedestrians can be expected to be an active part of the performances. Other Chicago Artists Tiffany Lawson Dance and Mike Ford will contribute to this traveling performance.

Mike Ford and Tiffany Lawson Dance will be joining Core Project Chicago on this site specific venture. It is presented as part of Chicago Artist's Month through a partnership with the Chicago Park District.
