The third Moving Canvas event on Wednesday April 16 featuring new choreography by Benjamin Holliday Wardell, Michel Rodriguez Cintra‘s The Nexus Project and new dance performance in connection with the HATCH Projects artist and curatorial residents at the Chicago Artists Coalition. The work will be performed to a sound score performed by a live female chorus. The performance will engage directly with the visual art on view in the exhibition curated by Alexandria Eregbu featuring art work by HATCH Residency Artists Delaney DeMott, Hope Esser, and Megan Stroech.

Dance: A Moving Canvas" connects visual art with performance in new and fresh ways. With this program, audience members have the opportunity to ask questions and play with and change the choreographic work within a festive gallery setting. Moderator Zachary Whittenburg delightfully guides the process, and in addition to stimulating conversation, audience members will enjoy delicious appetizers and wine, thanks to sponsorship by Whole Foods and Apothic.
