THE ERA is Chicago’s premiere footwork dance crew, bringing their popular music/movement performance “from the alley to the gallery”. Join them this summer as they teach footwork to new generations of dancers from diverse backgrounds at High Concept Labs.
Each workshop session will cover the basics of footworking, its connection to the music and the underground battles scene. Learn from the best as they teach you Erks, Skates, Dribbles, Ghosts—and how to form combinations from these basic moves to create your own style. Come away from one, two or three classes with a deeper understanding of the movement and some sick moves for your summer.
Classes taught by THE ERA members Litebulb, P-Top, Ste-Lo, Chief Manny, and Dipset.
