Dance Chicago in 2010 stretches over a five-month calendar, October 29, 2010 through February 19, 2011. Dance Chicago’s unique entertainment extravaganza opens its 16th season with its ever popular dance competition: Dance Slam, and then moves to the Theatre Building Chicago for a three week run, November 3-21. On December 11th Dance Chicago moves to Nichols Concert Hall at the Music Institute in Evanston and finally ends its season on February 19, 2011, with the Best of Dance Chicago at Fermi Lab’s Ramsey Auditorium in Batavia, IL.
During its 15 years as the unparalleled Chicago dance festival, Dance Chicago has showcased a vast array of dance styles ranging from urban, hip-hop, ballet, tap, Latin, jazz and contemporary. Dance Chicago 2010 returns to offer audiences the best in dance and entertainment experience with new programs featuring world premieres and performances for every discerning taste.

The 16th Anniversary festival will feature 250 companies and 13 unique and new seasonal programs adding to the most economical way to see some of the most visually appealing entertainment in Chicago.
