State Ballet Theatre of Russia: Romeo and Juliet

One of Russia’s best-kept dance secrets, The State Ballet Theatre of Russia, hails from the city of Voronezh. The company of 65 brings a brand-new production of one of classical ballet’s all-time favorites, Romeo & Juliet, set to the familiar Prokofiev score and choreographed by Mikhail Lavrovsky, former principal dancer of the Bolshoi Ballet, and now a leading Russian choreographer for the Bolshoi and other companies.
