Matter Dance Company presents Revolving Doors

here is something for everyone in the latest show from Matter Dance Company, voted ‘‘Best Dance Company in Chicago’‘ for two consecutive years in the Chicago Reader Best of Chicago awards. Entertaining and surprising for the dance aficionado or the novice, Revolving Doors takes a look at love, loss, day jobs and showdowns. Matter Dance Company once again delivers the innovative and engaging performances they have become known for. From the classical to the comical, this show is host to the newest works from the most up-and-coming choreographers and dancers in Chicago. Revolving Doors features the choreography of Gail Adduci, Shayna Bjerke, Jessica Hoversen, Dustyn Martincich, Mike Ford, Megan Mulherin, Keeli Cook, Mandy Work and Carisa Barreca (winner of the Ann Barzel Award for Comedy/Entertainment in Dance; voted ‘‘Best Choreographer in Chicago’‘ in the Chicago Reader Best of Chicago 2009).
