Below is an updating list of events that have been postponed, cancelled, or changed due to the response of the COVID-19 pandemic. If you are hosting an event, please reference the Center for Disease Control and Preventon's website and their guide to holding Mass Gatherings or Large Community Events during this time. For the most up to date information visit the Chicago Department of Public Health's COVID-19 website as well as the Chicago Department of Public Health’s COVID-19: Guidance for Businesses and Employers.

Ticket holders are encouraged to contact venues directly for refund protocols. Many arts organizations are asking patrons to consider forfeiting a refund, as a charitable donation to help them stay afloat during this difficult time.

The Lou Conte Dance Studio is permanently closed.

 

Ballet Chicago will be close March 14 through April 12.

 

The American Rhythm Center will be closed March 16 through April 7.

 

Ruth Page Center for the Arts will be closed March 16 through April 20.

 

Visceral Dance Center will be closed March 16 through April 7.

 

Joel Hall Dancers & Center will be closed until further notice.

 

The Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago is closed until further notice, including all public performances.

 

The Harris Theater for Music and Dance has canceled all planned events and performances through May 3, 2020.

 

All public performances at Links Hall are supended through May 1.

 

Ayodele Drum & Dance are suspending all classes until further notice. 

 

The Dance Center of Columbia College Chicago has postponed Qudus Onikeku, Abby Z and the New Utility, and the B-Series until further notice.

 

The Joffrey Academy has cancelled all spring semester Academy classes and the Academy's spring performance of Giselle.
