Event Type
Performance
Event Description
Join Links Hall for a groundbreaking weekend of new performance, as Co-MISSION Resident Artists premiere works developed during their fall residencies.

Quadratic
Elijah Motley

In Quadratic, compelling movement patterns and chronologies dissociate themselves over the course of a single solo show. With humor, pathos, and an expertly crafted musical soundtrack, Motley draws on his dance training in House, Breaking, Popping, Krump, Gaga, and Contemporary Modern in order to warp, arrange, and rearrange the audience member's sense of time.

'2000m'
Paul Scudder

An ever-shifting romp between facts, hearsay and contemporary values, Scudder's staged song cycle borrows text from Sappho, Emily Dickinson, and Vaslav Nijinsky. '2000m' manifests the ambiguities and questions surrounding this trio of historic figures, each with their own contentious relationship to queerness. Choreography joins a vocal and instrumental score, inviting dialogue for and about queer folx.
