[Bangali] [Meye]- Tuli Bera

[Bangali] [Meye] is dedicated to acknowledging, exploring, and understanding the experience of inhabiting the body of an [immigrant] / [first-generation American], specifically one of [South-Asian] / [Indian] descent. Incorporating traditional and contemporary dance, film, fashion, and ritual, Bera sheds new light on living in the United States of America in this performance that's equal parts intimate and epic.

in the darkness she laid to rest- Jasmine Mendoza

Developed in part at Links Hall and in part at a summer residency in Carrizozo, in the darkness she laid to rest transforms and extends the human form into the elemental. Mendoza's meticulous movement investigates her physical connection to the high deserts of New Mexico, echoing mountains, wind, and the sand beneath her feet. The result is a transfixing expression of the desert's impact on the body.
