It's Okay Not to Know: Livestream Technology Workshops

Are you an artist or producer looking for new ways to create and share performance virtually? Embrace the unknown and explore the technology behind live streamed events in this devised workshop, led by Links Production Manager Giau Trong. Participants will get hands-on training in Links Hall's new remote camera and broadcast systems, tips for crafting performance for digital media, and consulting on how to engage audiences on the screen. Artists working in all performance disciplines are welcome.

Workshops will be held in-person at Links Hall's Studio A white box, in accordance with public safety protocols set by the City of Chicago and State of Illinois. All participants must wear masks.

Each workshop will have a maximum registration of 4 individuals. Participants must sign up in a team of two or a team of four, to support creative collaborator pods. Teams of two understand that they will be paired with another team of two, composed of individuals they may not know.

By registering for this workshop, you agree to Links Hall Health & Safety Protocols. Anyone traveling outside of Illinois must quarantine for 14 days prior to attending an event at Links Hall, in accordance with the City of Chicago's Emergency Travel Order.
