MCA Live: Cabin Fever, Respire

Event Type
Performance
Event Description

Research-based and architecture-engaged company CabinFever is comprised of half musicians, half dancers. Their process involves extended inquiry into the history of a building and its inhabitants to craft a work performed in that building. Respire is a site-specific collaboration between CabinFever and electronic music improviser Stephan Moore, with inspiration taken from the MCA's architecture—designed by Josef Paul Kleihues. Each cycle of the performance consists of hourlong installations beginning at noon, 1, 2, and 3 pm. A 20-minute Q&A follows the final cycle (4-4:20 pm).
