Event Type
Workshop
Event Description

: Rev your energy :
: Mince the space :
: Mobilize your parts :
: M O T O R :

This series of 15 practices is open to all levels and experience. Each practice could be different: the MOTOR score, a class led by a guest teacher, a bilingual/bicultural facilitation, a process-based investigation building towards a new Khecari project. Come open and ready to move your body. This is not for technique but to MOTOR.

This is sold only as a full series, we are not selling single drop-in passes. You do not have to attend all the practice sessions, feel free to buy a pass and come as much as your schedule allows.
Practices are each Monday - Friday from 10am - 11am, starting June 7th - June 25th, 2021 outside at Indian Boundary Park on the corner of Lunt and Rockwell.

* June 7th-11th sessions will be facilitated in both spoken English and American Sign Language. There will be one facilitator using two languages throughout class. Please let the facilitator know which language you use to communicate when you arrive, so they know which languages are required for the MOTOR session.

** We welcome all people with disabilities to our events. If you require a specific access service to fully participate or have any questions about accessibility, contact Cristina Tadeo at cristina@khecari.org. Please be in touch as soon as you know you would like to join us so we can make sure we have the accommodations ready for you on the day you will attend.

*** Please feel free to bring children that are in your care along to be in the movement space with us free of charge. They can move with us or play near-by. While the MOTOR facillitation is geared toward adult language and attention span, we are in full support of having care-givers who enter and exit the space based on their child's needs.

**** A portion of the 100% subsidized passes are reserved for people from marginalized communities. We encourage you to feel proud to claim these tickets based on your personal sense of self-identity and history.
