Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble is pleased to present, The Queer Landscape. This is the third of a four-part performance series called, Art + Activism. The featured performance works, along with the art installation, aim to create a dialogue around the intricacies, growing awareness, and history of oppression of the LGBTQ+ community. Topics of featured performance works examine displacement of the trans community, violence and hate crimes, the evolution of coming out and coming into ones self acceptance, and gender fluidity.
