The Seldoms are pleased to be invited to perform within The Graham Foundation's fall exhibit, Experiments in Environment: The Halprin Workshops, 1966-1971. In the late 1960s, renowned American landscape architect Lawrence Halprin and avant-garde dance pioneer Anna Halprin organized a series of experimental, cross-disciplinary workshops in Northern California that brought dancers, architects, environmental designers, and artists together in a process designed to facilitate collaboration and group creativity through new approaches to environmental awareness.
The company will share our own creative process and some mini-segments of our newest undertaking - a dance theater work about counterculture, rock music and citizenship.
