Examining Punishment vs. Rehabilitation, this work uses embodied research to track the exploration of curiosity drawing parallels between institutional and societal imprisonment. As a call to awaereness , we pose these questions: How are we as humans wired to surivive mentally, physically, spiritually, and culturally? How does our individual methods for survival interrupt our ability to express humanity and grow community? How can we work remove barriers to an individual's successful reintegration back into our communities after periods of incarceration.
