Natya Dance Theatre celebrates our 40th anniversary with the world premiere of Varna – Colors of White. Conceived by Founder and Artistic Director Hema Rajagopalan, Varna - Colors of White explores universal emotions that find expression through words, music, dance and drama and bring together the secular and the divine, the manifest and the hidden as part of an integrated whole. Eminent musicians from India accompany principal dancer Krithika Rajagopalan and Natya dancers as Varna – Colors of White brings to life feelings of love, desire, compassion, sorrow, greed, jealousy and humor.
