Chicago Dance Month is your chance to discover our city’s energetic and varied dance scene!

With more than 50 performances, events, and classes, many offered at a special Dance Month “Hot Deal” discount rate, as well as numerous opportunities to visit open rehearsals and catch free pop-up performances featuring a fantastic array of dance artists and organizations.

Special Events:

Open Doors: a series of exclusive FREE events that highlight Chicago dance companies in famous landmark buildings throughout the Loop. Locations include everything from hotels to furniture stores, and churches.

Open Spaces:  join the fun each Friday during rush hour for Thank Dance Its Friday! (TDIF), a FREE Pritzker Park dance series featuring 3-5 different companies each week..

The celebration comes to a dynamic close with a Chicago dance takeover of Block 37 on May 1 with a dance-filled indoor block party. From Ballet to Bollywood, and all styles in between, this action packed event offers something for everyone.
