PointePeople’s first product is called Pointe Paint. Pointe Paint is a convenient, portable, and water-based solution for dyeing and “pancaking” your satin pointe (or other satin!) shoes or canvas technique slippers. Whether you want to dye your satin or canvas shoes for a photo shoot, competition or a show, Pointe Paint is your number one solution.

PointePeople Marketing Intern:

PointePeople™ is looking for a highly creative Marketing Intern to assist with interacting with and engaging their target audiences, growing its online presence, and developing social media posts and blogs. The ideal candidate is someone who knows the ins and outs of the ballet industry and has excellent writing skills.

Must be able to commit to a minimum of 6 months (beginning January 2019) and approximately 5 hours a week. This is a remote, work-from-home position and you must have your own computer or laptop.


What you'll do

  • Help develop and execute different social media strategies for PointePeople™

  • Interact with our online community

  • Generate, research, and pitch ideas for posts

  • Write, edit, and publish content

  • Use Google Tools (ie: Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets) and Microsoft Office

  • Advocate and educate other dancers about interests, products, or services

  • Invite other bloggers, experts, or other notable guests to contribute content to the webpage

  • Monitor responses to posts via the website, social media, or other platforms

  • Stay current on industry trends for possible opportunities to attract new readers or create stronger, more engaging content

  • Use Hootsuite or other social media management platforms

What we offer

At the end of the internship, you’ll have skills in content marketing, social media marketing, and SEO. A strong recommendation for college or full-time work. This is an unpaid position.
