The Distribution Courier will be an Independent Contractor employed by See Chicago Dance, will report to the Marketing and Programs Manager, and will work to serve the organization’s core mission and programs. Specifically, this position will serve the marketing materials distribution program, including delivery and documentation of dance and theater company postcards along the See Chicago Dannce's Dance Specialty route. This position pays hourly and offers tremendous opportunities for meaningful work and networking in a highly competitive field.
*Currently hiring multiple Couriers with access to a personal vehicle and/or can complete deliveries via public transportation . Will be compensated hourly plus mileage or transportation reimbursement.
Position duties include but are not limited to:
· Coordination, transport and timely delivery of all designated dance company materials to *75 pre-determined locations throughout Chicago’s Northside, Loop and Southside neighborhoods
· Maintaining current notes on all locations including contact names, hours of operation, and special considerations
· Taking photo documentation along the route
· Being available the first week of each month for distribution runs that may take a few trips to complete

Skills & Qualifications:
· Proficient in Microsoft Office or equivalent software, especially Excel
· Current proof of car insurance required if using personal vehicle
· Knowledge of Chicago neighborhoods a plus
· Excellent communication skills a must
· Strong organizational skills
· And, A professional, yet fun-loving person with a sense of humor!
