“To put it bluntly, it takes a lot of balls to put on a full-length musical production, with lights and live musical accompaniment, based on one adjective shouted out 10 seconds before it begins.” - Lauren Warnecke, Art Intercepts

Does the idea of a fully improvised musical (complete with a dream ballet) excite you? Confuse you? Terrify you? Come learn about our process, build up your own (acting and dancing) improvisational skills, and find out if “Spectacle Spectacular!” might be your new favorite project!

“Spectacle Spectacular! A Song and Dance Musical” is back for a fourth time, and we want YOU to be a part of the family. This audition/workshop will give you a glimpse behind the curtain, and give you a chance to get your metaphorical hands dirty. Take risks in a safe space, learn how to use your voice, embrace uncertainty, and learn how to make something out of nothing. Talk to veteran cast members about the process, get to know the directors, and most of all—HAVE FUN!

This free workshop/audition takes place at 1500 W. Elmdale Ave (July 14, 2-5pm) and is taught by J. Lindsay Brown and Neil Figuracion. Bring water, a snack, and your own awesomeness. If auditioning, please bring your resume (you are welcome to attend just for the workshop).

Rehearsals are on Sundays, 2-5pm
Shows are September 13/14 and September 21/22
8pm, 1500 w Elmdale ave
