Then the American Rhythm Center is the perfect place for you!

 

Classes offered range from Tap to Afro-fusion to House dance.  Work Study candidates will also have the opportunity to learn from tap masters Lane Alexander, Founder and Artistic Director of the Chicago Human Rhythm Project, Chicago Human Rhythm Project’s Artist in Residence Daniel Borak, as well as Bril Barrett, founder of M.A.D.D. Rhythms.  Additionally, the American Rhythm Center partners with outside companies such as Kalapriya Center for Indian Performing Arts, A&A Ballet, and Mandala South Asian Performing Arts.

 

As a part of work study hours, candidates will have the opportunity to assist in performances put on by the Chicago Human Rhythm Project such as Stomping Grounds and Juba!, as well as other performances and event throughout Rhythm World.
