Beginning at age three, children progress through graduated levels of training. Pre-dance for 3 and 4 year-olds introduces dance movements and concepts in an interesting and fun way while instilling the beginning of classroom discipline. Ballet/Jazz/Tap Combo classes for 5 - 7 year-olds are a continuation of pre-dance, developing the movements previously introduced, along with basic rhythms and patterns of jazz and tap.
Students at age 8 and over are prepared to enter a fully integrated program in all forms of dance and choose the styles most to their liking. Our staff consists of professional teachers with master's degrees and/or professional performing experience. Classes in ballet, jazz, tap, modern, and hip hop include complete stretching and strengthening training along with dance movements. Supported by additional conditioning in pilates classes, students attain not only physical prowess, but correct postural and breathing techniques that benefit them in non-dance activities as well. Children and teens not only improve educational performance through dance training, but also develop the ability and confidence to excel in extra-curricular activities. Many of our students participate in theatre performances, poms, cheerleading, and are awarded scholarships when auditioning for colleges or dance-related programs.
Adult classes in basic ballet, jazz, tap, pilates conditioning and yoga-based exercises offer much needed relief from the stresses of everyday life. Social dance lessons are also available in either regularly scheduled group classes or privately by arrangement. Singles or couples gain confidence to mix in the social scene and sometimes prepare themselves for weddings and special occasions.
Dance 4 All is fully committed to offering quality dance to our community and participates in activities whenever possible. Performances are not only important educational opportunities for our students, but enable more people to share in our enjoyment and love of the total dance experience.
