Design Dance is an on-site dance education program founded in 2008 with the hopes of bringing an all-inclusive and innovative dance experience to students throughout the Chicagoland area. Through the collaboration of a group of creative professionals, Design Dance presents students with skills to not only master their technique but to also come away with the ability to proactively create their own dance works. Design Dance offers a wide range of children's classes both on-site at a number of private and public schools, and through arts partnerships with the Chicago Park Districts and the City of Chicago Public Libraries. Additionally, Design Dance hosts annual showcases as well as workshops and camps that allow students the opportunity to choreograph their own original works.
