Subconscious Development Motion Project

Subconscious Development Motion Project is an artistic collective centered around arts activism. Our mission is to spread awareness and promote critical thinking through making art that is accessible to the masses. SDMP produces stimulating, though-provoking work that investigates motion from the micro to the macro. We use an array of artistic mediums and thrive on collaboration to bring our creative visions to life. As a Chicago-based group, the urban setting plays a large part in our aesthetic values. We believe in using “Gorilla Art” and “Grassroots” campaigning in conjunction with film, dance, and visual art to produce positive messages that challenge the forces of consumerism. Our work allows us to connect with our audiences viscerally and stimulate new thought processes.
