Co-Artistic Directors Eddy Ocampo and Joshua Paul Weckesser bring over 12 years of combined collaborative experience, choreographing and designing dance to their company, LEVELdance. LEVELdance represents a significant new artistic endeavor for both choreographer and designer. Rather than creating work in which the design meets the needs of the choreography, Ocampo and Weckesser create a rich multi-layered environment that contextualizes and steers the direction of the dance. By fully engaging the architecture, aesthetic and capacity of the theatre, a completely realized environment is born.
