Welcome to the Moonwater Dance Project Summer Intensives! MWDP proudly offers two week-long intensives for Summer 2019: July 15-19 at Dance and Music Academy in Glenview, and August 5-9 at Dance in the Light in Bradley. These intensives are intended for intermediate and advanced level students. Moonwater Dance Project prides itself for being a company comprised of diversely trained artists. Students will have the opportunity to learn from members of MWDP, all of whom are accomplished dancers, having trained all over the country and performed with many companies including Winifred Haun and Dancers and Chicago Dance Crash. Our summer intensive offerings include classes in yoga and conditioning, ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, hip hop, acrobatics, and improvisation techniques. Students will also learn MWDP repertory set on the company by Artistic Director Mackenzie King as well as dance artists from NW Dance Project, L.A. Dance Project, Visceral Dance Chicago, and Cocodaco Dance Project.
