Yes, dance is performance, but oftentimes, it’s more! Our new NeighborhoodMOVES series dives deep into dance as a medium for expression, healing, and connection. Immerse yourself in expert-led panels, interactive workshops, and exclusive film screenings. More details are coming soon—get ready to experience dance in a whole new light.

The third and final stop on our 2026 NeighborhoodMOVES journey takes us to the Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts for an evening of embodied conversation in The Connection Cypher, facilitated by Daniel “BRAVEMONK” Haywood and Kelsa “K-Soul” Rieger-Haywood. Followed by the Bodies in Rhythm movement workshop led by Tre Daniels.

Immediately following, we will celebrate the conclusion of the 13th Annual Chicago Dance Month with the Chicago Dance Month Wrap Party + Celebration—grooves and vibes provided by DJ Salem. Whether you attended a CDM event as an audience member, led a class, facilitated a workshop, or performed on any of the CDM stages, this celebration is for you! All are welcome!
