This dance program focuses on free form movement with a technical foundation. Drawing on Cunningham, Graham, Horton, among other techniques, the student explores organic movement exercises and compositions with an emphasis on clear articulation, dynamics, rhythm, and the concept of fall and recovery. Students work at their own technical and ability level.  Improvisational elements within the program reinforces the students “ownership” of the movement. Students should wear comfortable workout clothing in which they can move easily but does not unduly obscure the body. Students work bare-footed or in suitable foot covering that allows for traction. For students ages 14 and up unless exceptions have been arranged in advance with the instructor.   Full session registration/12 classes, $70, Single Class, $10 and 5 Class Cards, $43, are available.
