The work is a departure from a piece that used extreme effort as a means of reaching physical euphoria in order to demonstrate massive joy. In this work, they’re exploring the tension point between adrenaline rush and a full parasympathetic response, and how the relief within or from that can be experienced as the same.

Dancers can expect an audition centered around body weight exercises, playing with a short prompt, and learning a phrase. The space will open at 1:30pm to begin the audition at 2pm. Please arrive at the space 10-15 minutes early to sign in and warm up.
