From the whispers of the past we hear a resound that cannot be silenced. Every human – beautiful or plain, desirable or marginalized – is precious and created with purpose. Join Ballet 5:8 for Julianna Rubio Slager's acclaimed Butterfly, a gripping one-act ballet based on the story of a Holocaust survivor. Butterfly also features actual artwork from WWII terezin and honors the Jewish children, artists and others held there.

Don't miss this special version of Julianna Rubio Slager's acclaimed Butterfly, filmed pre-quarantine in Ballet 5:8's state-of-the-art studios! This is the second special opportunity to see Ballet 5:8 perform despite the cancellation of the company's spring season due to the national pandemic. Tickets are by donation; all proceeds support Ballet 5:8's 2019/20 Season Benefic Campaign & Artists Fund.
