The three sessions of our 2016 Summer Intensives aim to advance students’ artistic development and broaden the realm of their possibilities through unique curricula designed and taught by a stellar faculty. The sessions provide advanced training in ballet and modern technique, the study of William Forsythe’s Improvisational Technologies and Ohad Naharin’s Gaga movement language conducted by their personal representatives Alessio Silvestrin and Bobbi Jene Smith, the study of Mr. Naharin's repertory, and the development of new works with Alessio, Alex Ketley, Bobbi, Christian Burns, Eli Nelson, and Joni Tuttle McDonald. Technique classes will be taught by Summer Lee Rhatigan, Chiharu Shibata, Tristan Ching, Alex and Christian. All students will dance in the two theater performances that conclude each session.
