Modet Dance Collective was founded in 2013 by a group of dancers who wanted a stress-free place to dance and choreograph, with a focus on the blending of Modern and Ballet. Pieces are created by the members of the collective, and all are welcome to participate. Modet's debut performance was at the Bridgeport Art Center as a part of the opening celebration for the Artemisia After 40 art exhibit on May 2, 2014. Modet partnered with the Living Room Playmakers for their first full-length performance, Future Perfect Tension, June 15th at Stage773.
