This class emphasizes the importance of body-awareness, breathing, and pathways. Basic technique specific for the material being taught will be given as a warm-up, so it's recommended to come a bit warm already! The choreography taught will be a mixture of contemporary and urban dance; we will study how we connect and move through shapes. Half of the choreography will be taught the first week and will be continued the following! As much as it is choreography, please bring as much of yourself into it as you can!

THIS CLASS IS PRESENTED IN COLLABORATION WITH AND SUPPORTED BY THE UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO’S DANCE COUNCIL AS PART OF THEIR #KEEPDANCING INITIATIVE
