As part of Chicago Dance Month, this collaborative performance will bring together dancers specializing in multiple forms—ballet, contemporary modern, tap, and the historical dance of Isadora Duncan—alongside musicians, singers, and poetry readings to celebrate the beauty and sense of connection across the Chicagoland arts scene. In the spirit of Duncan’s philosophy of movement and “school of life,” Convergence will be an exploration of embodied presence, 20th and 21st century artistic forms, and shared experiences of joy.
