DanceMoves, a biennial choreography competition designed to shine a light on Chicago-based choreographers, returns in SEASON 10!

Choreographers selected to create new work in honor of DWC’s anniversary season using “10”/”TEN” as a point of departure are:  Shannon Alvis, Owen Scarlett, and Traver Woodard!

To inspire, empower, and build a community of artists and audiences through DanceMoves is our pleasure and responsibility as a good dance citizen. The vote of confidence in the local dance community … PRICELESS!  Join us to celebrate fresh voices and next steps in Chicago’s dance community!

Think global.  Dance local!
