Eifman Ballet returns to the Auditorium Theatre to present the American premiere of a ballet based on Tender is the Night set to a jazz score. Famous for his unique story ballets, Boris Eifman’s newest work is based on F. Scott Fitzgerald’s famous novel about the tumultuous relationship of one glamorous American couple living abroad, and the jet set friends that complicate their lives. “Of the ballet choreographers making narrative works for major stages, Russian Romantic Boris Eifman is virtually the only one totally in touch with the 21st century,” raves the Los Angeles Times.
