Visceral Dance Chicago returns to the Athenaeum with 2 World Premieres.

​“Madre” (2021) by L.A. based choreographer Mike Tyus and ”From Then On” from returning Spanish choreographer Monica Cervantes with live accompaniment by Emily Barrett. The evening will also include 3 works by Founder/Artistic Director, Nick Pupillo – “Avow”, a Chicago Premiere showcasing the entire company, the emotionally captivating duet “Ash in the Rainbow” and returning audience favorite “Synapse” with original composition by Darryl Hoffman.  "Synapse" is a robust crowd-pleaser, worthy of its rousing applause. (Chicago Tribune)
