Making their full-length performance debut at the Auditorium Theatre, after headlining the theatre’s inaugural MUSIC + MOVEMENT Festival last season, Giordano Dance Chicago brings a program of mixed repertoire including their critically acclaimed Moving Sidewalks, a piece about the transitioning industrial landscape of Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood during the mid-19th Century. The program also includes Roni Koresh’s EXit4, Ray Leeper’s Feelin’ Good Sweet, Autumn Eckman’s Alloy, and Ray Mercer’s world premiere Shirt Off My Back.  “Its dancers’ emblematic style is often so athletic that you hope there are oxygen machines waiting in the wings,” says the Chicago Sun-Times.
