IN ANY EVENT, a new film by acclaimed choreographer Penny Saunders, compassionately peels back the complex layers of perspective, reflection, and memory that imbue life’s momentous occasions with meaning. At times poignant, humorous, and thought-provoking, this 35-minute work features the Hubbard Street Dancers at their best, in a beautiful and sweeping blend of solos, duets, and trios, performed amidst a dreamlike soundscape of chamber music and spoken word.

Each of these three live presentations of the film will be followed by a Q&A discussion with artists behind the making of the work, including Saunders, co-director and editor Bruno Roque, and the company dancers.
