Overview
Join us for a world‑premiere performance and two returning works charged with memory, tension, and spirit. This evening is designed to awaken the senses, stir reflection, and celebrate the power of dance to reveal the unseen—followed by a celebratory reception featuring delicious savories, sweets, and libations.
“Meeting the choreographer and dancers with a champagne toast!”
WORLD PREMIERE
“Untitled Identity”
Choreography by Ginny Ching‑Yin Lo
“Untitled Identity” looks at how identity shifts over time—how it expands, contracts, and reveals unexpected layers. Through movement, the piece explores the tension between outside perceptions and inner understanding, offering a fresh perspective on what identity can mean. The music featured in this new work includes a beautiful composition by the German musician Pyrolator.
RETURNING WORKS
Enliven (2023)
A vibrant blend of East and West influences, Enliven celebrates individuality, shared energy, and the dynamic spirit of Identity’s ensemble.
“‘Enliven’ by Identity Performing Arts is a unique and uplifting multi‑media experience!” – Sarz Maxwell, Buzznews
Muted (2024)
Muted reflects on communication—what we say, what we don’t, and what we express without speaking. It’s a thoughtful look at silence, boundaries, and connection.
“With ‘Muted,’ Identity dancers gripped the audience through an intriguing shadowy world of silence.” – Sidney Valdez, SCD
