Lead & Follow explores themes of conformity and rebellion through contemporary Indian dance theatre. Three performers take a look at how conformity and rebellion manifest in the most obvious and subtle of ways. The original music score is a product of trans-regional collaboration between composer Anjal Chande, and musicians Jesse Hunter and Karl Olson. The composition was inspired by Chande’s own melodies, combined with her original text, which together provide an unusual backdrop for bharatanatyam dance.
