From the creative team who brought you Mama’s Boy, chosen as one of the Top 10 Dance Events of 2013, LoveTaps is an interactive tap opera that puts the audience in control of the story. Written by Marc Smith, featuring original music by Andrew Edwards and directed by Harrison McEldowney,LoveTaps tells the story of young singles navigating through Chicago’s dating scene. After meeting these characters, the audience will get the opportunity to decide who would be the perfect match for each other.

“This kind of show is fun because it finally allows the audience to fulfill their dream of telling their friends who they should and shouldn’t date. We will ask the audience to vote on who dates whom, and based on the results each date could go radically different every night. As in the first production, all dates are gender agnostic, reflecting the wonderful openness and diversity of Chicago,” said Artistic Director Mark Yonally.
