Chicago’s Lucky Plush Productions celebrates its 15th anniversary with the creation of a new dance-theater work, Trip the Light Fantastic: The Making of SuperStrip.

In this world premiere of a Harris Theater commission, SuperStrip follows a group of washed up superheroes attempting to reinvent themselves in a nonprofit think tank for do-gooders. Comic book-style graphics, sound effects, and immersive video will create an experience like none other—contemporary dance theater meets animated graphic novel.

SuperStrip was commissioned by the Harris Theater for Music and Dance with support from the Pamela Crutchfield Dance Fund through the Imagine campaign, Commissioning Partner. Additional commissioning support provided by Krannert Center for the Performing Arts at University of Illinois. Enjoy a preview of this world premiere performance!
