Matter Dance Company invites you to their upcoming concert, Once Upon, at the Den Theatre, April 25-May 4, 2019. Marvel in the mystique and experience the unexpected in Once Upon. Matter Dance Company’s 13th annual performance celebrates the magic of the story. From classic fairy tales to epic adventures to fanciful fables—some with a twist—MDC invites you to join them on a journey through time and tale, fiction and folklore.

Matter Dance Company celebrates its thirteenth anniversary this year. MDC is under the direction of Carisa Barreca, Gail Adduci Gogliotti, and Niki Wilk Mahon, and is managed by Josh Fletcher. Matter Dance Company believes dance should be created for the audience as well as the dancers, and their goal is to create dance that makes the audience think, laugh, and want to experience dance.
