Michael Clark Company principal dancer, Julie Cunningham, gives a contemporary dance class incorporating elements of Michael Clark’s rep and the Cecchetti method of ballet, which emphasizes flow of movement and musicality over virtuosity. A native of Liverpool, England, Cunningham trained with Elizabeth Hill and at Rambert School. She danced for Ballett der Stadt Theater Koblenz, Germany, the Merce Cunningham Dance Company in New York, and began working with Michael Clark Company in 2012.
