About the New Dances Project:

An important part of the mission of Thodos Dance Chicago is to support and nurture the choreographic development of the American voice in dance. To that end, Thodos Dance Chicago provides a platform each year for its ensemble members and one guest artist from the Chicago community to create new works over a three month period and have them performed in a fully staged concert setting. Thodos Dance Chicago’s “New Dances” choreography performance series, now entering its 15th year, is a unique project that gives Chicago emerging choreographers the opportunity to develop new work and have it performed in a formal concert setting. TDC provides all tools needed to complete this experience including rehearsal space, lighting design, music editing, performance venue and more.
